Hi! My name is Blake Haines. Adam Rae and I bought the Timber Lodge back in July of 2022. We thought we would start doing a blog for the next couple weeks so that previous guests and community members could know what is going on here at the Timber Lodge. Let me introduce you to us... the new owners of the Timber Lodge.
Adam (left) is a long time native to Colorado Springs. He loves the community here. So much so that he lives only a few miles away in Old Colorado City. He grew up here. Adam has been doing other real estate transactions in Colorado for the past few years. He also has properties that are outside Colorado but he really likes to keep things close to home. His expertise is in taking an existing property and helping it get updated. Including his own house that was built in 1899... Wow! He had been watching for the Timber Lodge to come available for years knowing that he could add his flare to it, while keeping its overall feel and bring energy to the area.
I (right) currently live in Gilbert, AZ but recently relocated from the Nashville, TN area. My background is in the restaurant and real estate industries. Customer service is one of the things I love about what I have done over the years. I recently sold some of my business and have transitioned into mainly working on real estate. I also love Colorado Springs. Every time I visit I feel rejuvinated and sense of peace and relaxation that I think we all need more often than we get. I have been so excited to work on this project with Adam. He and I have been friends for 17 years and now business partners for the last 2 years. It has been so exciting to try and bring this project to life. We look forward to it being a staple in the community again.
