High priced summer camp
It is a nice property, has a magical feel to it however money is an issue here. This is a pre teen summer camp trying to be a 4 star motel. The first 3 days were 100 a day, next 7 days were 75, didnt give me an option to stay longer (thankfully) rented the room i was in, told me i would have to register through air bnb at 1040.00 for 7 days. I left and found a fabulous room for 90 a day, the longer the better and dead quiet!! The day i arrived housekeeping said they dont like renting long term because if they dont like the person they just have to deal with it. They also admitted it was extremely expensive. At 4200 a month i would have to agree! This place should be priced at 35 a night.
The pool is illegal. It isnt even plastered. Its obviously never been inspected because it wouldnt pass. The handrails are loose also. This is a lawsuit waiting for a place to happen. Not to mention the epa should probably be involved with bleach leaking into the ground from not properly sealing pool with plaster
Tree sap is a big problem. My black car has a layer of tree sap all over it that will take a pro detail to get it off.
The beds are luxury cots, not beds. Back breakers and I would never have a romantic get away here because everyone would hear you!!
Housekeeping takes breaks in cabin 25 to smoke pot while on break. But guest are restricted from smoking in cabins and charged a cleaning fee if they do!
Cabin 23 has a handy man who is up all hours of the night throwing beer bottles and smoking ciggarettes and pot again in the room and the walls are so thin it comes right into the next room!
It's noisy! The windows are SO old and have no clay that hold the panes in and cuts down on noise. You hear every car, the birds who chirp day and night and every conversation that happens near you. The air conditioner is too loud to run. Sleep was not good
Dogs must be on a leash and poo picked up, except the managers dog
There is no office, there are chairs where the employees sit and party and ask if the can help you when you walk up. Its uncomfortable and completely unprofessional. Again giving it a pre-teen summer camp feel thats WAY over priced
